Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual troubleshooting and diagnostics for solar systems experiencing post-installation issues
  • Generate detailed quotes for post-installation services, repairs, and maintenance work
  • Handle technical phone calls related to solar system repairs and ongoing maintenance
  • Provide expert technical support and guidance on solar system functionality (electrical and structural components)
  • Answer complex technical questions from customers when communication skills allow
  • Support sales team efficiency by taking over time-intensive quote generation processes
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex post-installation challenges
  • Document troubleshooting processes and maintain technical knowledge base

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of solar systems, specifically post-installation operations and maintenance
  • Proven experience with post-installation solar service, repairs, and troubleshooting
  • Deep understanding of solar system electrical and structural components
  • Ability to conduct effective virtual troubleshooting and remote diagnostics
  • Strong communication skills for technical customer interactions
  • Bonus if you have sales or quote generation experience (fully trainable if not)
  • Must have POST-installation experience (pre-installation sales experience will not suffice for this role)

  • Strong communication skills for occasional technical customer interactions.

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
