Our client is looking for a professional to fuel the sales pipeline for a growing logistics company by identifying and qualifying high-value prospects across Australia’s freight forwarding industry. This role combines strategic research with voice verification, giving you direct impact on business growth while developing expertise in the dynamic logistics sector. You’ll work with cutting-edge lead generation tools and collaborate closely with appointment setters to create a seamless prospect journey.

Client Overview

A major international freight forwarding company with operations across Australia’s key markets, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. They’re expanding into emerging markets and handling both sea and air logistics with peak activity during major shipping seasons. The company operates as part of a global network with Swiss headquarters and manages independent country portfolios.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM AEST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week); 2-3 month ramp-up period to reach full productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential customers in freight forwarding and logistics
  • Utilize lead generation platforms like Apollo.io and other tools to build targeted prospect databases
  • Make verification calls to confirm contact details and validate prospect information
  • Qualify leads based on specified criteria and company requirements for Australian markets
  • Maintain accurate records of all research and verification activities in CRM systems
  • Collaborate with appointment setters to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads
  • Support 30 salespeople across Australian territories with consistent lead flow
  • Focus on emerging markets, including Toowoomba and Newcastle expansion areas

Requirements

  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for professional verification calls
  • Experience with lead generation tools and CRM systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple territories
  • Familiarity with the Australian business landscape and communication styles is a plus
  • Knowledge of the freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping industry is an advantage
  • Reliable internet connection and professional phone setup for voice-based work

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
