The client is a major international freight forwarding company with operations across Australia’s key markets including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. They’re expanding into emerging markets and handle both sea and air logistics with peak activity during major shipping seasons. The company operates as part of a global network with Swiss headquarters and manages independent country portfolios.
Schedule

Monday - Friday, 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM AEST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)
Note: Includes a 2-3 month ramp-up period to reach a target of 20 appointments per month per supported salesperson.

Responsibilities
- Contact qualified leads provided by the lead generation team across Australian markets
- Deliver compelling elevator pitches tailored to freight forwarding and logistics industry
- Handle objections professionally and build rapport with business decision makers
- Schedule appointments between prospects and the sales team with high show rates
- Follow up to ensure scheduled appointments are confirmed and attended
- Maintain detailed records of all prospect interactions and outcomes in CRM
- Support 30 salespeople across Australian territories with consistent appointment flow
- Collaborate with sales team to optimize messaging and approach based on market feedback
Requirements
- Excellent verbal communication and professional phone skills
- Strong objection handling and persuasion abilities with business decision makers
- Experience in appointment setting, inside sales, or customer-facing roles
- Ability to build rapport quickly and represent company brand professionally
- Professional phone manner with clear speaking voice for Australian business context
- CRM experience and basic computer proficiency for record keeping
- Bonus: Freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping industry knowledge
- Helpful: Experience working with Australian clients or business culture

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
