Our client is looking for a versatile, conversion-focused Digital Marketing Generalist capable of managing multi-location marketing efforts across four childcare schools (2 in Texas, 2 in Ohio). The ideal candidate combines paid media execution, local SEO expertise, Squarespace technical proficiency, and brand-focused creative production. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic oversight and tactical implementation.
The primary objective is to maintain and optimize existing marketing systems with a conversion-first mindset — every update, ad, and optimization must drive parents to book a tour.
Client Overview
The client operates a multi-site childcare company with four schools across two states (Texas and Ohio). Each location requires ongoing marketing support to maintain a strong online presence and consistently generate enrollment leads and tour bookings.

Key Responsibilities
Local SEO & Google Maps Optimization
- Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles for all four school locations on a weekly basis
- Publish weekly posts, geotag photos, and manage Q&A and reviews
- Build and maintain local citations for each location
- Improve “Near Me” search visibility and Map Pack rankings
- Optimize for “Location + Service” keyword structures
Lead Generation Advertising (Meta Platforms)
- Launch and monitor Facebook and Instagram Lead Generation campaigns monthly
- Optimize campaigns to minimize cost-per-lead (CPL)
- Ensure Meta Lead Forms capture accurate location-specific data
- Conduct A/B testing on creatives, headlines, and CTAs
- Track and report on leads generated per location
Squarespace Website Management & Technical SEO
- Execute website updates across all Squarespace templates
- Implement proper H1–H3 header hierarchy
- Optimize URLs and internal linking structure
- Rename and optimize image files for search visibility
- Implement alt-text, metadata, schema markup, and SEO panel configurations
- Set custom SEO titles and meta descriptions per page
- Conduct “under the hood” SEO improvements beyond surface-level text edits
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Improve existing Squarespace templates to increase tour bookings
- Add enrollment forms, testimonials, and trust-building elements
- Implement clear and compelling Calls-to-Action (CTAs)
- Improve user flow to reduce friction in the inquiry process
Brand Design & Creative Execution
- Utilize the owner’s Canva Pro account to create professional, on-brand ad creatives and social media posts
- Adapt provided raw photography into “Gold Star” branded marketing materials
- Maintain distinct brand identities between Texas and Ohio schools
- Produce location-specific creative assets for paid campaigns and GBP posts
Strategic Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Provide concise weekly marketing performance summaries
- Report on:
- Leads generated per location
- Ad spend and cost-per-lead
- Website health and SEO updates
- Google Business Profile activity
- Identify optimization opportunities and next-step recommendations
Requirements
Digital Marketing Fluency
- Moderate to advanced experience with Facebook Ads Manager (specifically Lead Generation campaigns and Lead Forms)
- Working knowledge of Instagram advertising
- Experience managing Google Business Profiles
Squarespace Mastery
- Hands-on experience working with Squarespace templates
- Deep understanding of Squarespace SEO Panel
- Ability to set custom SEO titles and meta descriptions per page
- Experience implementing technical SEO elements (alt text, metadata, schema)
Local SEO Knowledge
- Experience optimizing service-based businesses for local search
- Strong understanding of “Location + Service” keyword targeting
- Familiarity with citation management and Map Pack ranking factors
Independent Design Execution
- Strong Canva proficiency
- Ability to independently create professional-grade marketing creatives using provided photography
- Understanding of brand consistency and visual hierarchy
Organizational & Multi-Location Management
- Ability to manage marketing efforts across four locations simultaneously
- Maintain distinct messaging for Texas vs. Ohio markets
- Strong time management and task prioritization skills
