Marketing Assistant

Job Description:

You’ll help optimize a growing online education business’s digital presence and create effective sales funnels to reach more customers. This role combines strategic marketing thinking with hands-on execution, working with platforms like Podia and helping establish a stronger online foundation. You’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects from website optimization to marketplace setup, making a direct impact on business growth and customer reach in the personal development space. 

Client Overview:

An online education business focused on personal development and self-improvement, creating ebooks, courses, and expanding into physical book sales. They’re ready to optimize their digital infrastructure and implement strategic marketing systems to reach more customers. The business operates across multiple platforms and is seeking to establish a cohesive, results-driven online presence. 

Schedule:

  • Part Time - 20h per week - Flexible during the day AEST

Independent Contractor Perks:

Responsibilities:

  • Support website refresh and improvements across your existing platforms (Podia and secondary website)
  • Assist in setting up and organizing funnels to attract traffic, capture leads, and nurture customers
  • Set up and manage Amazon accounts for publishing and distributing your books
  • Coordinate marketing tasks including basic strategy implementation and execution support
  • Assist with integrating course platforms and organizing content delivery systems
  • Support ongoing marketing initiatives and ad-hoc projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience with digital marketing fundamentals and funnel concepts
  • Comfort working with website platforms and learning new tools
  • Understanding of online product ecosystems (courses, ebooks, marketplaces)
  • Strong organizational skills to help bring structure to currently fragmented systems
  • Good communication and ability to work collaboratively on evolving strategy
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
