The role begins with an intensive bookkeeping project (estimated 80–120 hours) focused on comprehensive financial record setup and clean-up. After completion, the position transitions into ongoing monthly fractional bookkeeping support.

Schedule
Monday - Friday, Flexible hours with 2–3 hours overlap required, Eastern Time (Toronto), with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive bookkeeping operations using QuickBooks Online
- Execute initial intensive financial record setup and organization (80–120 hours project phase)
- Provide ongoing monthly fractional bookkeeping support and maintenance
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and best practices
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation systems
- Collaborate virtually with the team to support business operations and growth
- Support additional administrative and back-office functions as the role expands
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Current and verifiable QuickBooks Online certification (required)
- Advanced expertise in QuickBooks Online and its features
- Strong attention to detail and high level of financial accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Experience working with virtual teams
