Job Overview:
This is a part-time position starting at 20 hours per week with potential to scale to full-time based on performance and project completion speed. The role will focus primarily on grant research and writing to secure national and international funding for organizational growth. Additional support will be provided for curriculum development and program launch activities scheduled for May.
Client Overview:
A global nonprofit organization operating in its fourth year, focused on scaling operations across multiple countries. The organization runs mentorship and leadership programs in correctional facilities across North America, Central America, and plans expansion to West Africa.
Schedule:
- 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 1pm - 5pm, PST (Los Angeles, CA)

Responsibilities:
- Research and identify national and international grant opportunities to support organizational scaling and permanent staff hiring
- Write and develop grant proposals and applications for nonprofit funding
- Assist in developing and refining curriculum structure for mentorship and leadership programs launching in correctional facilities
- Provide general administrative support including spreadsheet management and documentation
- Support project management activities related to program launches and organizational expansion
Must-Have Requirements:
- Proven experience in grant research and grant writing
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with spreadsheets and general office software
- Ability to work independently on task-based projects with minimal supervision
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
- Experience in marketing design and creative content development
- Project management experience, particularly in nonprofit or educational program settings
- French language proficiency for potential communication with West African program locations
