Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Developer to own web development and internal automation infrastructure. This high-ownership role involves maintaining and improving web properties, building workflow automations, and translating business needs into reliable, scalable technical solutions. You will work directly with leadership to shape the technical roadmap, proactively solve problems, and build systems that support rapid growth.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, includes 1-hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

Website Development & Management (50%)

• Maintain, optimize, and improve web properties (WordPress, Webflow, hosting environments)
• Build and update landing pages, forms, and conversion-focused web experiences
• Manage DNS, hosting configurations, domain settings, and site performance
• Ensure websites are fast, mobile-optimized, and technically sound for SEO
• Implement on-page SEO: meta tags, schema markup, structured data, canonical tags, sitemaps, and page speed optimization
• Collaborate on SEO content strategy and site architecture to improve organic search rankings
• Implement and manage tracking and analytics (Google Analytics, Search Console, Meta Pixel, etc.)
• Troubleshoot bugs, broken integrations, and site issues promptly

Workflow Automation (40%)

• Design, build, and maintain automated workflows to connect tools and reduce manual work
• Manage and evolve Airtable or similar project management bases, including schema, views, automations, and interfaces
• Build integrations between CRM, project management tools, email platforms, and third-party APIs
• Document automations clearly for team understanding
• Identify manual processes that can be automated and propose solutions
• Contribute to AI-related projects as part of future automation initiatives

Tech Strategy & Ops Support (10%)

• Collaborate with leadership to scope and prioritize technical projects
• Evaluate new tools and integrations to improve business capabilities
• Maintain technical documentation and an organized systems architecture

Requirements

Must-Haves:

• 4+ years of professional experience in web development and/or technical operations
• Hands-on experience with WordPress (custom themes, plugins, ACF, page builders) and/or Webflow
• Proven experience building automations with n8n, Make, or comparable tools
• Comfortable working in Airtable — building bases, automations, and interfaces from scratch
• Strong understanding of web hosting, DNS, and domain management
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate proactively
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to move quickly without breaking things

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom web development
• Familiarity with REST APIs and webhooks
• Experience integrating tools like CRM, email, and communications platforms
• Background working in a startup or small team environment

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical projects and web infrastructure
• Ability to proactively identify and implement process improvements
• Strong collaboration skills while working remotely
• Comfortable with fast-moving, high-ownership work environments

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
