Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to support a growing consulting firm. In this role, you will maintain accurate financial records, reconcile transactions, and manage month-end close processes to ensure books are complete, compliant, and up to date.
You will work closely with the business operations team to ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards while enjoying the flexibility of a remote, part-time position within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily transactions and ensure accuracy within Xero
- Manage the month-end close process, including review meetings to confirm financial accuracy
- Identify and raise discrepancies or concerns to ensure completeness and correctness of financial records
- Maintain compliance with U.S. accounting standards and regulations
- Support both cash and accrual accounting processes
- Work closely with operations to ensure books remain organized and up to date
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper for U.S.-based companies
- Familiarity with U.S. accounting laws and compliance requirements
- Strong knowledge of Xero accounting software (mandatory)
- Experience with both cash and accrual accounting methods
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
Qualifications
- CPA certification preferred but not required
