Job Description:
You’ll be the financial backbone for a multi-entity operation, where your bookkeeping expertise directly impacts business success across diverse revenue streams. This role offers the perfect blend of variety and stability – managing complex financial structures while working with an experienced Director of Finance who appreciates skilled professionals and provides the support you need to excel. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity across all entities while contributing to streamlined month-end processes.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (US Eastern Time), with a 1-hour unpaid break

Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive month-end close processes across eight different business entities
- Maintain and update bank feeds to ensure accurate financial tracking across all entities
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations for multiple accounts
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently
- Post monthly journal entries with precision and attention to detail
- Support additional finance projects and ad-hoc tasks throughout the week
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the timely completion of all financial processes
- Contribute to process improvements and financial system optimization
Requirements:

Proven experience working with US-based companies and a solid understanding of US accounting practices

Strong proficiency in bookkeeping software and financial management systems

Ability to work consistently during US business hours with a reliable internet connection
