Job Overview
You’ll serve as the strategic marketing lead behind a growing wellness brand, driving digital presence for both spa services and skincare products. This role goes beyond content posting — you will shape marketing strategy, analyze competitors, identify growth opportunities, and provide creative direction that elevates the brand across multiple channels. You’ll have direct access to business owners who value your expertise and are open to learning from your insights and recommendations.
 
Client Overview
Join a thriving wellness business operating both an established spa and an exciting new skincare product line launched just months ago. This family-owned company values strategic thinking, creativity, and fresh ideas. You’ll work directly with passionate owners who recognize the power of digital marketing in scaling their dual-business model and are eager to implement expert-driven strategies.
 
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Ocean Shores, NSW (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic social media content calendars optimized for engagement across Instagram, Facebook, and relevant platforms
  • Create compelling visual content using Canva and other design tools for both spa services and skincare products
  • Conduct SEO optimization for the website and Shopify store to improve organic visibility
  • Research competitors and market trends to inform strategic marketing decisions
  • Provide ongoing strategic guidance and fresh marketing ideas to business owners
  • Manage day-to-day social media posting, scheduling, and community engagement
  • Optimize posting schedules based on peak engagement times
  • Support broader digital marketing initiatives across both business verticals
  • Maintain consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all platforms
 
Requirements
  • Strong experience in social media management and strategic content creation
  • Proficiency in Canva for graphic design and visual asset development
  • Proven SEO knowledge with hands-on website optimization experience
  • Ability to work during Australian business hours with reliable availability
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to provide competitive analysis and marketing insights
  • Excellent communication skills and responsiveness
 
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience managing Google Ads and/or Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns
  • Shopify or e-commerce platform experience
  • Background in wellness, beauty, skincare, or lifestyle industries
 
Side Note:
This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on performance during the application process.
