You’ll play a key role in streamlining financial operations across a diverse healthcare portfolio by taking ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities that currently consume valuable leadership bandwidth. This growing portfolio company provides leadership, capital, and operational support to help healthcare organizations thrive. You’ll work directly with experienced leadership who understand the value of freeing up strategic time for high-impact initiatives and who prioritize operational efficiency across their investments.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple business entities using QuickBooks
- Record journal entries and complete routine financial data entry with precision
- Manage bookkeeping functions for medical practices, assisted living facilities, and healthcare equipment businesses
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records across all portfolio companies
- Support financial data organization and assist with report preparation
- Collaborate with the leadership team to streamline and improve accounting processes
- Gradually expand responsibilities to include payroll registries as capability grows
- Eventually compile comprehensive financial reports as the role evolves
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (all business operations are housed in QuickBooks)
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with budgeting processes and financial planning
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles
- Meticulous attention to detail, particularly for daily reconciliation tasks
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare industry accounting
- Experience managing accounting across multiple entities

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
