Our client is a Michigan-based e-commerce company specializing in 100% natural dog treats. They are seeking a Social Media Assistant to help manage and expand their social media presence across multiple platforms.

Job Overview

This role involves taking content that has been created and strategically distributing it across various social media channels to maximize reach and engagement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with AI-generated content and help streamline the company's social media operations.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, EST (Michigan time)

Responsibilities

  • Repost and distribute content across multiple social media platforms after it has been created
  • Schedule social media posts using appropriate tools and platforms 
  • Create social media graphics and visual content
  • Write engaging captions for social media posts 
  • Track and monitor engagement metrics and reach across platforms 
  • Develop and maintain content calendars to ensure consistent posting
  • Oganize and coordinate social media activities to align with business goals 
  • Work with AI-generated content and adapt it for various platforms

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in social media management
  • Proven experience scheduling posts and managing content across multiple social media platforms
  • Strong skills in creating social media graphics and visual content 
  • Excellent written communication skills for crafting engaging captions
  • Experience tracking social media metrics including engagement and reach
  • Ability to develop and maintain content calendars
  • Comfortable working with AI tools for content generation
  • Proficient in social media management and able to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
