Job Description
You’ll play a pivotal role in transforming how this growing company manages its financial operations. Working directly with the Head of Finance, you’ll take ownership of critical month-end processes, streamline data workflows across multiple systems, and help build the foundation for scalable financial operations. Responsibilities

  • Own key components of the month-end close process and ensure seamless execution across all financial systems
  • Manage data accuracy and integrity across NetSuite, go.com, SPS Commerce, and other integrated platforms
  • Execute financial data entry, report generation, and analysis using advanced Excel functions
  • Verify transaction mapping and account accuracy to prevent system integration breakdowns
  • Follow and optimize standard operating procedures while identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Handle inventory management, revenue analysis, and cost of sales reporting
  • Shadow the Head of Finance initially, then transition to independent project ownership
  • Collaborate on forecasting support and high-level financial analysis as responsibilities grow

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of finance or accounting experience, with preference for senior-level candidates (5+ years)
  • Very proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong data analysis and manipulation skills
  • Bookkeeping experience, preferably supporting US-based companies
  • Diligent, analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to follow SOPs consistently while proactively suggesting improvements
  • Bonus if you have experience with NetSuite, EDI systems, or multi-platform financial integrations
  • It helps if you’re a quick learner who can master new financial software and systems
  • You bring honest, transparent communication and aren’t afraid to ask questions or own mistakes
