Your Role: Part-Time Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile multiple payment accounts including Sezzle, credit card payments, eBay transactions, and various app-based payments that deposit into Chase checking account
- Record all financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
- Handle invoicing and payment processing
- Assist with payroll-related bookkeeping tasks
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for the e-commerce business
Requirements:
- QuickBooks certification required
- Strong experience working with US-based clients and familiarity with US accounting principles
- Previous bookkeeping experience, particularly with e-commerce or multi-channel payment reconciliation
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work during US business hours as needed
Scope:
- Part-time position requiring minimum 10 hours per week
- Remote work arrangement with direct management by client
- Access to QuickBooks and other necessary financial software will be provided
- Month-to-month engagement with potential for growth as business scales
- Focus on ongoing bookkeeping support rather than project-based work
