Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Schedule & Location
This position is based in Delray Beach, FL, featuring an alternating weekly schedule:
- Week 1: Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM EST; Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (40 hours total)
- Week 2: Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM EST (32 hours total)
- All shifts include a 30-minute unpaid break. This pattern alternates every week.
Role Overview
As an SDR, you are the first point of contact for individuals who have received mailers regarding their legal settlements. Your goal is to qualify interest and perform a "warm transfer" to our senior team. Given the sensitive nature of our clients' backgrounds, this role requires high emotional intelligence and the ability to remain professional during difficult conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Outreach: Follow up on direct mailers using our integrated dialer.
- Lead Qualification: Use provided scripts to engage prospects, handle basic objections, and maintain a friendly demeanor.
- Warm Transfers: Successfully connect 5–20 qualified leads to sales representatives per shift.
- CRM Management: Accurately update our custom-built CRM system.
- Professionalism: Manage potentially emotional or negative responses with empathy and a "thick skin."
Requirements
- Communication: Excellent English skills with a warm, comfortable phone presence.
- Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and navigate sensitive topics professionally.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency to operate CRM and dialer systems.
- Active Listening: Strong ability to gauge client moods and adapt the conversation accordingly.
