Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm Central with a 30-minute paid break

Job Description: You’ll play a crucial role in managing financial operations while supporting business growth initiatives for an established freight services company. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with business banking systems, handle client communications, and contribute to lead generation efforts that drive company expansion. You’ll be working in a trusted role with significant responsibility for financial processes while also supporting operational efficiency through research and data management. Responsibilities:

  • Process all invoices through the company’s factoring system to maintain cash flow
  • Post loads on load boards for freight operations and logistics coordination
  • Handle standard accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks with attention to detail
  • Conduct collections activities and send payment reminders to clients via phone and email
  • Access business banking account to process ACH payments and manage transactions
  • Conduct Google Maps research to identify potential clients and business opportunities
  • Gather company names and phone numbers for lead generation and prospect development
  • Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets with prospect information and financial data
  • Provide general administrative support to streamline business operations
  • Make professional phone calls for follow-up on outstanding accounts and client communication

Requirements:

  • Excellent English communication skills for professional phone conversations
  • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Proficiency with Excel and data management systems
  • Ability to conduct effective online research and data gathering
  • Comfortable working with banking systems and financial software
  • Strong attention to detail for financial accuracy and compliance
