Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Video Editor to support our growing agency by producing high-quality video and visual content for multiple clients across various industries. This role is ideal for someone who is highly adaptable, comfortable working across platforms, and able to manage multiple creative requests while maintaining consistent quality and brand alignment.
You will play a key role in reducing content backlog, supporting ongoing campaigns, and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver engaging, platform-optimized content.
Responsibilities
- Edit compelling YouTube videos for multiple agency clients across various industries.
- Create light motion animation elements including lower thirds, name plates, and sliding text graphics.
- Produce engaging social media video content optimized for TikTok, YouTube, and Meta platforms.
- Handle graphic design tasks using Canva to support comprehensive social media campaigns.
- Collaborate directly with the agency team through Basecamp project management system.
- Help reduce current content backlog while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Adapt content for different platform specifications and audience preferences.
- Work closely with account teams to understand client brand guidelines and objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing and graphic design, preferably in an agency or multi-client environment (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
- Strong proficiency in video editing tools(e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar).
- Solid working knowledge of Canva for graphic design and social media assets.
- Basic motion graphics skills for simple animations and text-based effects.
- Understanding of content best practices for YouTube, TikTok, and Meta platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable internet connection and ability to collaborate remotely.
- Availability to work flexibly within Ontario, Canada Time (EST).
Nice to Have
- Experience working with digital marketing or social media agencies.
- Familiarity with Basecamp or similar project management tools.
- Knowledge of video performance metrics and content optimization strategies.
- Experience editing short-form, high-retention social media videos.
- Basic understanding of branding, typography, and visual storytelling.
