Customer Support & Property Management Assistant

Job Highlights

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: 9am to 1pm Honolulu, 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming maintenance request calls from tenants and property owners
  • Coordinate with approved vendor network via text and phone to schedule maintenance appointments
  • Follow maintenance requests through to completion, ensuring proper communication between all parties
  • Manage and respond to leads from Zillow, Avail, and other real estate platforms
  • Schedule property showings and appointments for both property management and sales
  • Maintain and update social media presence for the brokerage
  • Provide general administrative support and help clear administrative backlogs
  • Input and manage data in Buildium property management software
  • Assist with website maintenance and updates

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills with neutral, professional accent
  • Experience with property management or real estate operations preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM and property management software (Buildium experience a plus)
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable internet connection and professional phone manner

Scope

  • Part-time position starting at 20 hours per week with potential to expand to full-time
  • Flexible scheduling based on business needs and peak call times
  • Primary focus on maintenance coordination with additional administrative and marketing support
  • Direct reporting to broker owner with opportunity for increased responsibilities as business grows
  • Mix of inbound customer service calls and proactive outreach for lead management
  • Access to company systems including Buildium, Zillow, and other real estate platforms
