We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support digital marketing and patient education initiatives for a growing Canadian healthcare business. This role combines creative content creation, social media management, email marketing, and website optimization. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with the community, educate over 700 subscribers, and drive online growth while working fully remote.

- Monday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST (5 hrs)
- Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST (5 hrs)

Responsibilities
- Create and manage social media content focused on health education and community wellness
- Design and send twice-weekly educational email newsletters to 700+ subscribers
- Update and optimize WIX website content to improve user experience and drive conversions
- Develop visual content and graphics using Canva and other design tools
- Respond to customer inquiries and leads via social media and website live chat
- Manage Google Business Profile to maintain a consistent online presence
- Create video content for social media platforms to enhance patient education
- Support overall digital marketing initiatives to increase online sales and customer engagement
Requirements
- Proven experience managing WIX websites and updating content
- Strong social media management skills across multiple platforms (applications with portfolios preferred)
- Proficiency in Canva for graphic design and visual content creation
- Experience with email marketing platforms and newsletter management
- Excellent written communication skills for educational content creation
- Experience responding to customer inquiries and managing online leads
- Bonus: Healthcare industry knowledge or experience with health-related content
- Helpful: Experience managing Google Business Profile

Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an Independent Contractor, selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. Professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance during the application process.
