As the company expands its outreach efforts, they are looking for someone who can help connect with more districts and bring meaningful educational opportunities directly to students who need them most.
You’ll be the first point of contact school districts hear from — introducing programs that make a real difference in children’s lives. This is not a hard-sell role. Instead, you’ll focus on building genuine relationships with education professionals, managing initial outreach, and setting qualified appointments for the sales team. Strong performers will have opportunities to grow into broader sales responsibilities over time.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to school district contacts to introduce after-school program services
- Schedule appointments for the sales team to present program offerings
- Update the CRM system (Insightly) with detailed call outcomes and contact information
- Send professional follow-up emails with program details after initial conversations
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and communication history
- Research and identify key decision-makers within target school districts
- Track daily call metrics and appointment conversion rates
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine messaging and outreach strategies
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and genuine comfort speaking with education professionals by phone
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn CRM systems
- Professional phone presence and respectful communication style
- Self-motivated work ethic with the ability to manage daily call goals independently
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office environment
- Experience in education, sales, or customer service is a plus
- Natural curiosity about educational programs and student success is highly valued
