Role Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled PHP Developer with experience in software development, API integrations, automation, AI-driven process optimization, and Stripe payment solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be capable of implementing and optimizing AI-powered solutions to enhance business efficiency.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM UK time (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM PHT) with 1-hour unpaid break

Responsibilities

1. Software Development & API Integration

• Develop, test, and maintain custom software solutions tailored to business needs.
• Integrate third-party APIs, including CRMs, cloud platforms, and communication tools.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and best coding practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot and debug API-related issues to ensure smooth integrations.

2. AI & Automation Implementation

• Leverage AI and machine learning to automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows.
• Implement AI-powered chatbots and automation tools to enhance user experience.
• Use natural language processing (NLP) and predictive analytics to improve business decision-making.
• Conduct process reviews and implement automation tools to streamline operations.

3. Stripe Payment System Management

• Implement and manage Stripe payments, including one-time and recurring payments.
• Develop Stripe Connect solutions to manage split payments between carers and businesses.
• Ensure secure and PCI-compliant payment processing.
• Handle refunds, chargebacks, and disputes efficiently through Stripe APIs.

Requirements

• Strong PHP development experience (Laravel, CodeIgniter, or other frameworks preferred).
• Proficiency in API development & integration (RESTful, SOAP, JSON, XML).
• Hands-on experience with Stripe API, including payment intent, checkout, and subscriptions.
• Expertise in Stripe Connect for handling split payments and marketplace transactions.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting for business process improvements.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning for process automation.
• Experience working with AI-powered chatbots, NLP, and workflow automation tools.
• Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) is a plus.
• Understanding of software security, performance optimization, and debugging.

• This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
