We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Entry Specialist (Pricing Specialist) to support accurate pricing setup, maintenance, and validation across internal systems. This role involves entering, updating, auditing, and monitoring pricing data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal guidelines. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable with large datasets, and able to quickly identify discrepancies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter, update, and maintain pricing data across internal systems, databases, or spreadsheets
• Validate pricing inputs to ensure consistency with approved pricing rules, contracts, and guidelines
• Perform routine audits to identify pricing discrepancies, errors, or outdated information
• Maintain pricing matrices, rate cards, discount schedules, and fee structures
• Coordinate with sales, finance, operations, and product teams to resolve pricing issues or clarifications
• Track pricing changes, approvals, and effective dates
• Ensure version control and proper documentation of pricing updates
• Generate basic pricing reports and summaries as needed
• Follow data integrity, compliance, and confidentiality standards at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in data entry, pricing support, or administrative roles requiring numerical accuracy
• Dual monitor setup for efficient work
• Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
• Comfortable working with large volumes of data and repetitive tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, filters, data validation preferred)
• Ability to follow pricing rules, workflows, and approval processes precisely
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Clear written communication skills for documenting changes and coordinating with stakeholders

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pricing Analyst, Pricing Coordinator, or Pricing Administrator
• Experience working with CRMs, ERPs, or pricing tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, SAP, custom pricing systems)
• Basic understanding of margins, markups, discounts, and cost-based pricing
• Experience supporting sales or finance teams
• Familiarity with audit or quality control processes

Side Note:
Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer, dual monitors, and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
