Receptionist & Booking Coordinator

Join a growing mobile tire fitting service that has been supporting Sydney drivers since 2008. This essential service business operates a fleet of specialized vehicles providing emergency roadside assistance and convenient at-location tire services. You’ll be supporting a team that delivers critical help when customers need it most.

You’ll serve as the central communication hub for a fast-paced mobile service operation, managing customer interactions from first contact through service completion. This role plays a key part in coordinating emergency responses and scheduled services, where your organization and customer service skills directly help people get back on the road safely.

You’ll work closely with field technicians and leverage modern booking and communication systems to ensure smooth daily operations across Sydney.

 

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming customer calls for emergency breakdowns and scheduled tire services

  • Process and coordinate bookings through integrated management systems

  • Dispatch job assignments to field technicians across multiple service vehicles

  • Manage customer communications via the Podium messaging platform

  • Maintain accurate customer records in the Mechanics Desk CRM system

  • Coordinate scheduling for emergency responses and routine appointments

  • Provide timely service updates and clear information to customers

  • Support seamless operations across extended business hours and weekend coverage

 

Requirements

  • Strong verbal communication skills with a professional phone manner

  • Experience using CRM systems and booking or scheduling software

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments

  • Reliable internet connection and a professional home office setup

  • Flexibility to work extended hours and occasional weekends

  • Bonus: Basic knowledge of tires or the automotive/mechanical industry

  • Preferred: Customer service experience in service-based industries
