Job Description: You’ll play a crucial role in helping customers secure the internet services they need when their busy schedules prevent them from calling directly. As a Call Center Order Placement Representative, you’ll handle the complete order process on behalf of consenting customers, working with major telecommunications providers to ensure smooth service activation. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact customer satisfaction while working with a dynamic team in the growing telecommunications sector. You’ll use your communication skills to represent customers professionally during order placement calls, following structured processes that ensure compliance and customer success.
Responsibilities:
- Place internet service orders by calling telecommunications providers (Spectrum, AT&T, etc.) on behalf of customers
- Represent customers during order placement calls using provided customer information and explicit consent
- Follow structured scripts tailored to each customer’s specific service requirements and personal details
- Handle customer orders based on gender assignment (male agents process male customer orders, female agents process female customer orders)
- Process orders received through online lead generation channels and chat interactions
- Maintain professional communication standards during all provider interactions
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure continuous coverage during business hours
- Document order details and customer interactions accurately
- Adapt communication style to match customer profiles while maintaining authenticity
Requirements:
- Excellent English communication skills with minimal accent
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, call center operations, or sales roles with US companies
- Strong verbal communication and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to follow scripts while maintaining natural, conversational flow
- Professional demeanor and ability to represent customers authentically during calls
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet work environment for clear communications
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday schedule consistently
