You’ll support the business owner in streamlining operations that drive real financial outcomes.
You’ll serve as the operational backbone of a growing finance and property business, taking ownership of key administrative and light bookkeeping processes that keep deals moving and clients satisfied. This role blends hands-on administrative support with financial coordination and offers opportunities to improve systems and workflows that make a measurable impact.
Working directly with the business owner, you’ll handle payment follow-ups, professional communications, and internal organization—ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable follow-ups via email and phone to ensure timely loan payments

Organize projects and tasks using Trello to support smooth workflow management

Perform bookkeeping and financial tracking using Xero accounting software

Communicate professionally with lawyers, accountants, investors, and other service providers

Follow up with clients regarding overdue interest payments

Handle general administrative tasks supporting daily business operations

Build, document, and improve operational systems to increase efficiency and reduce bottlenecks

Identify process gaps and recommend practical solutions for better client management

Maintain the investor database and assist with periodic outreach communications
Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional email and phone interactions

Comfort making follow-up calls related to payments and account matters

Experience with, or willingness to quickly learn, Trello and Xero

Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail, particularly for financial tasks

Ability to work independently and take initiative on process improvements

Professional demeanor when interacting with external parties (lawyers, accountants, investors)
