Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Support / Call Center Specialist to provide high-quality phone support to patients seeking treatment and rehabilitation solutions for acute and chronic pain conditions. This role is critical in delivering a calm, empathetic, and professional experience for patients who may be experiencing discomfort or distress.
Schedule:

Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 05:00 pm

Friday 8:15 am to 03:00 pm

With 30-mins unpaid break
- 38.25 hours per week
Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate and professional phone support to patients seeking treatment plans and rehabilitation solutions for acute or chronic pain conditions

Answer a high volume of inbound calls (approximately 60 calls per day) while maintaining excellent customer service standards

Communicate with empathy, patience, and a calm, reassuring tone to assist patients who may be in distress

Accurately explain clinic policies, procedures, and available treatment options

Make outbound calls to patients to assist with scheduling appointments and follow-ups

Respond efficiently and thoughtfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure call room environment

Ensure patient concerns are addressed clearly, respectfully, and professionally

Maintain a positive demeanor and courteous communication at all times
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets

Requirements
- APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE AN ASSESSMENT
- 2 years experience in a busy call room
- 2 years experience with EHR systems: scheduling
- 2 years healthcare experience (HMO, PPO, Authorizations)
- Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, phone systems (placing calls on hold and managing 2-3 calls at time)
- Must be reliable, self-starter, mature, empathetic, and have excellent customer service skills
- Must have an extra computer monitor and Adobe access
- Great listening abilities
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience with Jot Forms or similar software is preferred, but not required
- Understand our policies and REMEMBER how to implement them.
