Job Highlights
Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using TypeScript, React, and Nest.js in a healthcare technology environment

Contribute to value stream-based teams focused on specific customer outcomes and business initiatives

Implement AI-native development approaches and spec-driven development methodologies

Support the migration from legacy PHP systems to modern TypeScript architecture

Collaborate across the full technology stack while maintaining specialization in either frontend or backend

Help establish technical standards and best practices for the growing engineering organization

Work directly on customer-facing features that improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes

Participate in restructuring engineering teams from platform maintenance to mission-driven development

Contribute to building scalable, secure healthcare technology solutions
Requirements

Strong experience with TypeScript development and modern JavaScript frameworks

Proficiency in React for frontend development

Experience with Nest.js or similar Node.js backend frameworks

T-shaped skill set with deep specialization in either frontend or backend, plus ability to contribute across the stack

Mid to senior level experience preferred, though strong junior candidates with growth potential will be considered

Understanding of or strong willingness to learn AI-native development approaches and spec-driven development

Experience working in healthcare technology or regulated industries is a bonus

Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional team environments

Bonus if you have experience with legacy system modernization or PHP-to-TypeScript migrations

Familiarity with value stream or outcome-focused development teams is a plus
Side Note:
Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
