Overview
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and people-focused French Bilingual Customer Service Representative (CSR)to join our remote team. This customer-facing, phone-heavy role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, coordinating internal follow-ups, and maintaining accurate customer records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable on the phone, and skilled at keeping customer operations running smoothly. This role supports Canadian time zones and requires fluency in both French and English.
Job Highlights
Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST (with 1-hour unpaid lunch)

Responsibilities

Answer inbound and outbound customer calls in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner

Respond to customer inquiries related to services, appointments, and general information

Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate appointments for field teams and consultants

Accurately enter and maintain customer information, call notes, and appointment details in CRM systems

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer requests are followed up promptly

Monitor schedules to avoid conflicts, gaps, or missed appointments

Provide clear, timely updates to customers regarding next steps or changes

Escalate issues or complex cases to the appropriate team member when required

Prepare daily activity summaries and updates for management

Support overall team workflow by ensuring information is organized, complete, and current

Perform additional duties as assigned by Team Lead or Management
Requirements

Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)

Excellent phone presence with a calm, professional, and courteous manner

Strong listening skills and ability to clearly explain information to customers

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Comfortable managing multiple calls, schedules, and tasks simultaneously

Proficient with computers, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office tools

Able to work independently in a remote environment while staying accountable

Reliable, punctual, and consistent in meeting daily responsibilities

Ability to learn basic technical or service-related information quickly

Familiarity with Canadian French, including Quebec-specific terminology and communication styles

Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
