Job Description
You’ll become the weekend backbone of a growing vacation rental operation, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while the founders focus on scaling their business. This role offers the perfect blend of guest service excellence, operational coordination, and administrative support in the dynamic hospitality industry. You’ll work directly with property owners, guests, and service providers to maintain the high standards that keep this business thriving in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all guest communications and support during weekend peak periods
- Review and analyze cleaning team reports with photos to ensure property quality standards
- Identify supply needs across properties and draft professional correspondence to homeowners
- Coordinate damage assessments and manage resolution processes with Airbnb and guests
- Liaise with maintenance vendors and handymen for repairs and property upkeep tasks
- Assist guests with HOA registration requirements and community compliance procedures
- Troubleshoot guest access issues including gate entry and keypad problems
- Provide proactive guest support to prevent issues and enhance satisfaction ratings
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of property management experience, preferably in short-term rentals or hospitality
- Strong written communication skills for guest messaging and professional correspondence
- Ability to work EST hours including consistent weekend availability
- Experience with property management software and willingness to learn new systems
- Detail-oriented approach to reviewing reports, photos, and identifying maintenance needs
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle guest issues independently
- Bonus if you have experience with vacation rental platforms like Airbnb
- It helps if you’re familiar with HOA procedures and community management
