Join a growing commercial cleaning company that’s been building strong client relationships across New Zealand for the past year and a half. They serve ongoing commercial clients with weekly, monthly, and six-monthly cleaning services and are now ready to scale their business through dedicated lead generation. This is an exciting opportunity to be their first-ever lead generation specialist and help establish their cold calling processes from the ground up.
Job Description
You’ll be the driving force behind this company’s expansion, taking ownership of their lead generation efforts as they implement cold calling for the first time in their history. This role puts you at the center of their growth strategy, where you’ll research prospects, make meaningful connections, and directly impact their ability to secure new commercial cleaning contracts. You’ll work closely with field managers who handle all in-person meetings, allowing you to focus entirely on what you do best – generating quality leads and building the sales pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential commercial cleaning prospects using online directories and databases
- Conduct cold calling campaigns to generate new business leads for commercial cleaning services
- Qualify prospects and gather detailed information about their cleaning needs and facility requirements
- Book site inspection appointments directly in the Jobber CRM system for field managers
- Forward qualified hot leads to managers for in-person quote visits and follow-up
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and lead status within Jobber
- Follow up with prospects to maintain engagement and move them through the sales pipeline
- Collaborate with field managers to optimize the handoff process for site visits
Requirements:
- Proven experience in lead generation and cold calling, preferably in B2B environments
- Strong verbal communication skills for phone-based prospecting and relationship building
- Experience with CRM systems for lead management and appointment scheduling
- Ability to research and identify potential business prospects effectively
- Self-motivated and results-oriented approach with strong follow-through
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for professional phone calls
- Bonus if you have experience with Jobber CRM or similar field service management platforms
- It helps if you have experience in the commercial services or cleaning industry
