Overview

We are looking for a reliable Customer Service Representative to support a growing last-mile courier company specializing in time-sensitive deliveries across healthcare, legal, and banking industries. You will be the main communication link between clients, drivers, and delivery operations, ensuring accurate order coordination, real-time updates, and excellent customer service.


Job Highlights

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 24 hours per week
Schedule: Part-time (Thursday to Saturday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM EST)

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls from clients placing pickup and delivery orders

  • Provide real-time order status updates and track driver locations using GPS systems

  • Coordinate communication between independent contractor drivers and clients for delivery issues

  • Serve as liaison for sensitive medical deliveries requiring special client instructions

  • Resolve low-level customer service concerns regarding delivery timing and service quality

  • Access and navigate delivery management systems to monitor order progress

  • Document customer interactions and escalate complex issues to appropriate team members

  • Learn and maintain detailed knowledge of unique processes for 200+ diverse clients

  • Support overall customer service operations as part of a growing, dedicated team


Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills

  • Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple calls and systems simultaneously

  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to think quickly under pressure

  • Professional phone manner and ability to remain calm in challenging situations

  • Willingness to complete comprehensive 3–4 day training program before taking live calls

  • Bonus if you have experience in logistics, healthcare, or professional services industries

  • Comfortable learning multiple client-specific processes and requirements


Side Note:

Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an Independent Contractor, the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on an hourly basis and the rate depends on performance during the application process.
