Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Sydney, NSW Time with an hour unpaid break

Role Overview
We are seeking a professional with practical experience in the automotive industry—ideally within the smash repair sector—to support operational and technical tasks related to vehicle repairs and parts. This role is focused on leveraging hands-on industry knowledge to assist with quoting, parts sourcing, parts interpretation, and repair planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with vehicle quoting and/or estimating based on repair requirements
• Interpret parts diagrams, repair instructions, and vehicle specifications
• Source automotive parts and liaise with suppliers as needed
• Support repair planning by identifying correct parts and repair pathways
• Act as a “pathfinder” for parts and repair-related queries across the team
• Provide technical input to support efficient repair and quoting processes

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in the automotive industry, preferably within smash repair
• Strong understanding of vehicle repairs, parts, and repair methodologies
• Experience with quoting/estimating or repair assessment is highly regarded
• Ability to interpret parts diagrams and technical documentation
• Hands-on industry knowledge rather than a purely administrative background
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience working with repair management systems or estimating platforms
• Background in panel beating, estimating, parts interpretation, or similar roles
• Exposure to insurance repair processes

Role Focus
This position prioritizes practical automotive experience and technical understanding. The successful candidate will add value through industry insight and hands-on knowledge to support parts, repairs, and estimating functions.
