Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Support & Customer Service Administrator to be the first point of contact for our clients during business hours. This role combines phone-based customer service, basic IT support tasks, and general administrative assistance to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the business.

This is an ideal role for someone who is organised, confident communicating with clients, and comfortable handling basic IT tasks under guidance.

 

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Phones

  • Answer incoming phone calls during business hours in a professional and friendly manner
  • Strong English communication skills required
  • Provide a high standard of customer service to clients
  • Accurately gather information from clients and direct or escalate issues as required
  • Follow up with clients on requests, tickets, or quotes when needed

IT Support (Basic / Level 1)

  • Create and manage IT support tickets
  • Perform basic remote IT tasks, including:
    • Resetting user passwords
    • Creating and managing user accounts
    • Installing and configuring printers
    • Assisting with basic software or access issues
  • Escalate more complex technical issues to senior IT staff as required

Administration Support

  • Assist with simple administrative tasks to support management, including:
  • Creating and preparing basic quotes
  • Performing follow-ups with clients
  • Updating records and documentation
  • Help keep systems, tickets, and client information organised and up to date

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Strong communication skills, both phone and written
  • Confident and professional manner when dealing with clients
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
  • Ability to follow processes and escalate issues appropriately

Desirable

  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, or IT support
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts such as user accounts, passwords, and printers
