B2B Digital Marketing Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a tech-savvy B2B Digital Marketing Specialist to establish and manage our digital marketing presence. As a newly launched website, we're looking to transition from traditional cold calling to a sophisticated digital marketing approach that generates qualified leads and provides actionable intelligence for our sales team. 

This is a remote contract position, requiring someone who can work independently while maintaining close communication with our team. 

Key Responsibilities:

Paid Advertising Management 

  • Google Ads: Design, launch, and optimize Google Ads campaigns targeting our ideal prospects in the financial services/capital raising sector 
  • LinkedIn Ads: Create and manage LinkedIn advertising campaigns to reach decision-makers and business owners 
  • Manage advertising budgets efficiently and report on ROI 
  • Conduct A/B testing on ad copy, landing pages, and targeting parameters
  • Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data 

Email Marketing Campaigns 

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads 
  • Create compelling email content and subject lines that drive engagement
  • Segment email lists based on prospect behavior and demographics
  • Set up automated email workflows and drip campaigns 
  • Monitor email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions)

CRM Integration & Analytics 

  • Integrate and configure Zoho CRM with our website, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
  • Set up tracking pixels and conversion tracking across all platforms
  • Implement website visitor tracking to identify prospect behavior and page visits
  • Create dashboards and reports showing which prospects are engaging with our content
  • Establish lead scoring systems based on digital engagement
  • Provide actionable intelligence to the sales team on hot prospects ready for outreach

Technical Setup & Management 

  • Install and configure Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking
  • Set up LinkedIn Insight Tag and conversion tracking 
  • Integrate all marketing platforms with Zoho CRM for seamless data flow
  • Ensure proper attribution tracking across all marketing channels 
  • Implement form tracking and lead capture mechanisms 
  • Set up automated alerts for high-value prospect activity 

Reporting & Strategy 

  • Provide weekly reports on campaign performance, lead generation, and key metrics
  • Analyze campaign data to identify trends and optimization opportunities
  • Make data-driven recommendations for budget allocation 
  • Track cost per lead and customer acquisition costs 
  • Present insights on prospect behavior and engagement patterns 

Required Skills & Experience:

Essential 

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads campaigns 
  • Proven track record of lead generation through paid advertising 
  • Strong technical expertise with: 

○ Zoho CRM (or similar CRM platforms) 

○ Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager 

○ Marketing automation and tracking pixels 

○ CRM integration and data synchronization 

  • Experience with email marketing on Zoho CRM platform 
  • Demonstrated ability to set up technical integrations between marketing platforms and CRM - Zoho 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Experience in B2B marketing (preferably financial services or professional services)
  • Excellent written communication skills for ad copy and email content
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision 

Highly Desirable 

  • Experience with banking, finance broking, or business lending sectors
  • Knowledge of Australian business market and regulations 
  • Google Ads certification 
  • LinkedIn Marketing certification 
  • Experience with landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and content marketing 
  • Experience with marketing attribution models 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 

Success in this role will be measured by: 

  • Number of qualified leads generated per month 
  • Cost per lead across Google and LinkedIn channels 
  • Conversion rates from ad clicks to leads 
  • Email campaign engagement rates (open, click-through, conversion)
  • Quality of CRM data and tracking accuracy 
  • Sales team satisfaction with lead intelligence provided 
  • ROI on advertising spend 

What Success Looks Like in First 90 Days 

Month 1: Foundation 

  • Complete audit of current website and digital presence 
  • Set up all tracking pixels and analytics properly 
  • Integrate Zoho CRM with website and prepare for ad platform integration
  • Launch initial Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads campaigns 
  • Set up email marketing infrastructure 

Month 2: Optimization 

  • Refine campaigns based on initial performance data 
  • Complete CRM integration with ad platforms 
  • Launch email nurture campaigns 
  • Begin providing weekly intelligence reports to sales team 
  • Implement lead scoring system 

Month 3: Scaling 

  • Demonstrate positive ROI on advertising spend
  • Provide documented cases of sales team using digital intelligence for successful conversions 
  • Present recommendations for scaling campaigns 
  • Have fully automated lead tracking and reporting in place
