Role Purpose
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Land & Property Sourcing and Planning Coordinator to build and manage a consistent pipeline of UK land and development opportunities. The role focuses on sourcing sites, contacting landowners, coordinating communications through software systems, and supporting planning and development strategy under direct instruction.
This is not a decision-making role. The individual will execute strategy, manage data, follow instructions, and ensure a steady flow of qualified opportunities for review.
Key Responsibilities
Land & Opportunity Sourcing
• Source UK land, property, and development opportunities suitable for residential, mixed-use, childcare, care, or supported living schemes
• Use online portals, planning databases, local authority registers, auction sites, and agent platforms
• Identify off-market opportunities through research and outreach
Landowner & Stakeholder Contact
• Contact landowners, agents, builders, and developers via email, phone, letters, and CRM systems
• Send structured sourcing letters and follow-up communications
• Build and maintain professional relationships under company guidance
Planning Pipeline Support
• Track planning status, constraints, and opportunities (outline, full, pre-app)
• Liaise with planning consultants, architects, surveyors, and councils as instructed
• Maintain a live planning and land pipeline report
CRM, Systems & Communication
• Use CRM and property software to log leads, conversations, and progress
• Manage inboxes, follow-ups, reminders, and task lists
• Ensure all data is accurate, organised, and up to date
Strategy Execution & Reporting
• Execute sourcing and outreach strategy provided by the Director
• Prepare weekly pipeline updates and deal summaries
• Highlight priority sites, risks, and next actions clearly
Administrative & Coordination Support
• Organise meetings, calls, and site details
• Prepare basic site packs, summaries, and contact lists
• Coordinate with UK-based advisors when required
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
• Experience in UK property sourcing, real estate support, or land research
• Strong written and spoken English
• Excellent organisation, follow-up, and attention to detail
• Confidence communicating with landowners and professionals
• Comfortable working remotely under instruction
Desirable
• Understanding of UK planning system and local authorities
• Experience using CRMs or property software
• Background in real estate, planning, construction, or development support
• Experience supporting senior decision-makers
