About the Role

We’re looking for a Video Editor who lives and breathes scroll-stopping content.
This role is all about turning raw footage into high-performing paid ads — the kind that hook in the first 1–2 seconds, hold attention, and convert. You’ll be editing short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta Ads and YouTube Shorts, working closely with our marketing and creative teams to continuously test, iterate, and scale what works.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Edit high-impact short-form videos for paid ads (UGC-style, lifestyle, product-led, founder-led, trend-based)
  • Create scroll-stopping hooks within the first 1–3 seconds
  • Add dynamic captions, text overlays, sound effects and transitions that enhance performance
  • Turn raw footage, UGC and briefs into multiple ad variations for testing
  • Adapt creative quickly based on performance data (what converts, what doesn’t)
  • Edit content optimized for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook & YouTube
  • Stay on top of trends, ad formats and editing styles that perform
  • Collaborate with marketing, ads and creative teams to scale winning creatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience editing paid social ads (not just aesthetic videos)
  • Strong understanding of performance creative — hooks, pacing, retention
  • Ability to create fast, punchy, attention-grabbing edits
  • Experience editing for TikTok / Reels / Shorts
  • Confident working with UGC-style footage
  • Highly organized, fast-turnaround, detail-oriented
  • Comfortable testing ideas, iterating quickly and moving at speed

Tools & Skills

  • Strong experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut or similar
  • Excellent timing, storytelling and visual rhythm
  • Strong typography and captioning skills
  • Sound design knowledge is a bonus
  • Understanding of ad metrics and optimization is a big plus
