Responsibilities

  • Support civil construction estimating projects and handle overflow work from the senior estimator
  • Manage daily email correspondence and maintain professional client communications
  • Process and organize invoices in the Xero accounting system to ensure timely payments
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support across both business divisions
  • Handle bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with basic social media management and community engagement using provided content
  • Support business operations with general administrative tasks as needs evolve
  • Collaborate with the existing estimator to learn advanced techniques and processes
 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in civil estimating or related construction estimating work
  • Proficiency with Xero accounting software or similar bookkeeping platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with the team
  • Comfortable with remote work setup and Australian business hours
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and expand role responsibilities
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn new skills
