Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday flexible within daytime EST (Tuesday noon is mandatory due to meeting with the team)
Job Description:
You’ll take strategic ownership of both social media management and community engagement initiatives that directly impact client success and follower growth. This role combines content planning and publishing with authentic community building—meaning you will be responsible for creating and managing content calendars and actively engaging with audiences through comments, DMs, and conversations. This isn’t just about posting content—it’s about building real connections, driving engagement strategies, and responding swiftly to opportunities that move the needle. You’ll work directly with the founder and core team to shape content and community approaches that deliver real results across multiple client accounts.
Responsibilities:

Create, manage, and execute content calendars for multiple client accounts

Develop and implement strategic community management initiatives

Drive follower growth through authentic engagement and community building

Manage posting, scheduling, and optimization of content across platforms

Actively engage with audiences through comments, replies, and messages

Respond quickly to urgent client needs and implement rapid corrections when required

Collaborate with remote team members through regular meetings and communication channels

Take full ownership of growth and engagement metrics (not just publishing tasks)

Manage community engagement across various social media platforms and tools

Communicate effectively with team members and clients through integrated systems

Analyze content and community performance and adjust strategies to improve results
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Social Media Manager and/or Community Manager with proven results (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)

Strong understanding of content planning, scheduling, and calendar management

Strong fluency in social media language, trends, and platform-specific communication styles

Strategic thinker with an ownership mindset

Excellent written communication skills with attention to brand voice

Ability to work independently while staying highly available for collaboration
