Job Highlights
Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Melbourne Australia
Role Overview
The Investor Relations & Research Analyst is a high-impact role designed for a "crypto-native" strategist. You will serve as the primary filter and bridge between the global landscape of Web3 capital and PeerTC’s leadership.
This role requires a sophisticated blend of on-chain data analysis, social media intelligence, and executive-level outreach. Your goal is to identify high-signal investors, analyze their strategic fit, and secure high-stakes engagements for the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
-
Deep-Dive Investor Research: Perform comprehensive research on Venture Capital firms, DAOs, and "Whales." You will move beyond surface-level profiles to analyze an investor’s portfolio concentration, previous "exit" behaviors, and current liquid positions.
-
On-Chain & Social Intelligence: Utilize DeBank, Arkham Intelligence, and Dune Analytics to track wallet movements and investment patterns. Monitor X (Twitter), Farcaster, and LinkedIn to identify emerging narratives and investor sentiment.
-
Strategic Outreach & Narrative Crafting: Translate company’s technical innovations into high-signal outreach. You will draft bespoke, no-fluff communications that align their value proposition with an investor’s specific thesis or past investments.
-
Investor Qualification & Analysis: Act as the first-stage analyst. Vet potential leads based on their "dry powder," industry reputation, and strategic value, ensuring the CEO’s calendar is reserved for high-probability targets.
-
Market & Narrative Monitoring: Actively track the 24/7 crypto market cycle. Provide brief reports on recent funding rounds, competitor raises, and shifts in Web3 investment trends (e.g., L2s, DePIN, or RWA) to refine our pitch.
-
Executive Pipeline Management: Own the end-to-end scheduling process, ensuring that qualified leads are seamlessly transitioned into the CEO’s meeting pipeline with all necessary background research dossiers prepared.
Requirements
-
Crypto-Native Background: You must have a strong foundational knowledge of the Web3 ecosystem, including DeFi protocols, Layer 1/Layer 2 dynamics, and tokenomics.
-
Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to use on-chain tools and social sentiment trackers to derive actionable insights. You should be comfortable looking at a cap table or a wallet's transaction history.
-
Academic/Professional Foundation: Background in Economics, Finance, or Computer Science.
-
Professional Guardrails: Maximum 10 years of experience in pure call-center roles. We are seeking an Analyst/Strategist, not a volume-driven telemarketer.
-
Communication Excellence: Exceptional written English. You must understand "Crypto Twitter" etiquette, knowing how to be professional yet native to the digital asset culture.
-
Software Proficiency: Expert in MS Office (specifically Excel for data tracking) and CRM tools, alongside Web3-native platforms like Discord and Telegram.
Skills and Attributes
-
Self-Motivated: You find satisfaction in uncovering a "hidden gem" investor and successfully opening a door.
-
Strategic Communicator: Ability to take complex technical data and turn it into a compelling business case for an investor.
-
Resilient: You thrive in the high-volatility, fast-paced environment of cryptocurrency where market sentiment can change overnight.
-
Highly Organized: Ability to manage a complex pipeline of 50+ active conversations without losing track of details or follow-up opportunities.
