Senior Legal Case Manager – Expert Witness Services

Location: Fully Remote - 9am - 6pm AEST

Employment Type: Full Time – 40 hours per week, Legal Services, Independent Contractor engagement

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Paralegal - Case Manager, you will be the central point of coordination between expert witnesses and the legal teams relying on their expertise. Your work will directly support the preparation and delivery of high-quality expert evidence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing matters from initial instruction through to completion
  • Acting as the main liaison for lawyers and expert witnesses
  • Coordinating timelines, deliverables, and updates
  • Working with internal research teams to match the right experts to the right cases
  • Collaborating with quality assurance teams to ensure reports meet legal standards
  • Anticipating potential issues and keeping each case running smoothly

Requirements

  • A degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field
  • Experience in a law firm or legal services environment (lawyer or senior paralegal experience highly regarded)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset
  • Confidence working with a variety of professionals, including international stakeholders
  • Proficiency with MS Office and standard business tools
