Job Description

You’ll be the creative force behind building this startup’s social media presence from zero to established brand recognition. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape a brand’s entire digital identity while working in a fast-paced startup environment where your contributions directly impact business growth. You’ll manage multiple aspects of the business including social media strategy, customer communications, and business development outreach, making this perfect for someone who thrives on variety and wants to wear multiple hats in a growing company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage social media accounts from scratch, creating engaging content to attract younger demographics
  • Research viral marketing strategies from similar businesses and adapt them for the brand
  • Create compelling visual content using Canva and AI tools to showcase innovative vending machine technology
  • Handle customer inquiries and manage communications through email and website channels
  • Manage CRM system (Zoho) for tracking advertising partnerships and client relationships
  • Conduct targeted email outreach to venue managers and business partners for machine placement opportunities
  • Create and distribute PowerPoint presentations to prospective advertising clients
  • Assist with website optimization and management as the platform launches
  • Develop and implement QR code campaigns for social media engagement and promotions
  • Support additional family business social media needs as part of expanded role scope

 

Requirements:

  • Strong social media marketing experience with focus on younger target audiences
  • Experience with email marketing
  • Proficiency in Canva and AI content creation tools for visual marketing
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Zoho
  • Excellent written communication skills for customer service and business outreach
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint for client presentations
  • Understanding of viral marketing strategies and content creation techniques
  • Bonus if you have experience with website management and basic optimization
  • It helps if you’re comfortable working independently in a startup environment
  • Bonus if you have experience building brands from zero to established market presence
