This growing team of 5 creates memorable experiences for couples on their special day, blending traditional cultural elements with modern event production. You’ll be the first dedicated service provider for the operations team, giving you the opportunity to shape processes and grow alongside an expanding business.
Scope of Work:
You’ll be the operational backbone for a busy founder, managing the daily flow of client communications while adding creative flair to the company’s social media presence. This role perfectly blends traditional personal assistant duties with creative marketing tasks in the vibrant wedding industry. You’ll be the first point of contact for excited couples planning their dream weddings, handling everything from initial inquiries to coordinating logistics, while also showcasing beautiful celebrations across social platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to email inbox as primary responsibility, serving as the first point of contact for wedding inquiries
- Send initial paperwork and handle client communications up to face-to-face meetings
- Create and post engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Learn and utilize Goodshuffle Pro event management software for contracting and inventory
- Answer and manage phone calls with professional, warm client service
- Provide personal assistant support, including scheduling and administrative tasks
- Support both business operations and occasional executive administrative support to streamline leadership workflows.
- Maintain a creative approach to social media posting aligned with the company’s wedding celebration vision
Requirements:
- Strong English communication skills with a professional phone manner
- Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Administrative or personal assistant background with client-facing experience
- Creative mindset with basic social media management understanding
- Ability to learn new software systems quickly (Goodshuffle Pro training provided)
- Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup
- Bonus if you have an understanding of or interest in the wedding/event industry
- It helps if you have cultural familiarity with Indian weddings and celebrations
