Role Name: Spanish-Speaking Appointment Setter

Schedule: Sunday 12pm - 6pm; Monday through Wednesday 11am- 5pm.

A growing healthcare company that helps Hispanic families in Connecticut access state benefits to care for their elderly loved ones at home. They specialize in connecting families with a program that pays up to $2,800 monthly for in-home eldercare, making a meaningful difference in their community while building a sustainable business model.

Job Description: 

You’ll be the voice that connects Hispanic families with life-changing benefits they deserve. Working with warm leads who have already expressed interest, you’ll help families discover how they can get paid by the state to care for their elderly relatives at home. This isn’t cold calling – these are people who want to hear from you. You’ll receive comprehensive training and direct coaching from the business owner, giving you everything you need to succeed while making a real impact in your community.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact Spanish-speaking leads who have filled out interest forms for the Adult Family Living program
  • Conduct initial screening calls to qualify prospects for the state benefit program
  • Set appointments for in-person consultations with qualified leads
  • Follow up with leads who don’t answer on the first attempt using systematic cadence
  • Handle basic objections and questions about program benefits and payment rates
  • Input lead information and appointment details into scheduling systems
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects throughout the qualification process
  • Handle competitive situations where prospects compare agencies and reimbursement rates

Requirements:

  • Native or fluent Spanish speaker with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in telemarketing, appointment setting, or customer service roles
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with prospects professionally
  • Ability to work independently while following provided scripts and training
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and scheduling systems
  • Availability to work between 9 AM and 7 PM Eastern Time
  • Bonus if you have an understanding of healthcare or state benefit programs
  • It helps if you have experience serving the Hispanic community
