Partnerships & Sales Representative (Grants and Non-profit)

Job Overview
The Partnerships & Sales Representative is responsible for expanding the organization’s reach and revenue through proactive relationship-building, outreach, and sales development. This role focuses on generating leads, securing new contracts, and increasing visibility through strategic partnerships, media opportunities, and community engagement.
 
Key Responsibilities
1. Executive Outreach & Visibility Development
  • Identify and secure free and fee-based speaking engagements for leadership (workshops, panels, conferences, schools, podcasts, colleges, and media appearances).

  • Research and contact local and regional media outlets, podcasts, and community organizations to expand brand visibility.

  • Maintain a calendar of professional development and public speaking opportunities.

  • Prepare presentation decks, talking points, and materials for meetings, funders, and training sessions.

  • Coordinate logistics for speaking engagements, including RSVPs, registration, travel, and confirmations.

  • Maintain a CRM or contact list of partner organizations, conference hosts, and media outlets.

2. Sales Development & Lead Generation
  • Research and identify potential schools, organizations, and agencies aligned with the organization’s mission and services.

  • Conduct outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to introduce programs and schedule discovery calls.

  • Manage and nurture relationships with prospective clients from initial contact through closing.

  • Track all leads, communications, and follow-ups in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Airtable, or Google Sheets).

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop proposals, quotes, and customized service packages.

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.

3. Partnership & Contract Development
  • Identify and establish partnerships with school districts, community organizations, and corporate sponsors.

  • Support grant partnership outreach by identifying potential collaborators and co-applicants.

  • Maintain a database of district contacts, procurement officers, and vendor registration platforms.

  • Assist with preparing and submitting vendor applications and partnership forms.

4. Marketing & Communications Support
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with current campaigns.

  • Contribute content ideas for newsletters, social media, and press releases to increase engagement.

  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of outreach and promotional efforts.

  • Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and community functions (virtually or in-person).

5. Reporting & Coordination
  • Provide weekly updates on outreach progress, lead status, and upcoming opportunities.

  • Track sales data, pipeline growth, and conversion rates.

  • Prepare monthly reports summarizing engagement metrics and visibility outcomes.

  • Collaborate closely with operations and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and follow-through.

 

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, outreach, or partnership development (education or nonprofit experience preferred).

  • Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Airtable) and Google Workspace.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

  • Passion for education, youth development, or social impact work preferred.
