Digital Marketing & Google Ads Support (Service-Based Business)

Overview

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Operations Assistant to support website optimization, Google Ads execution, and local SEO for service-based businesses. This is an execution-focused role (not strategy) where you will maintain landing pages, optimize Google Business Profiles, assist with Google Ads setup, and follow SOPs to attract high-quality leads. The role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who thrive on precision and process-driven work.


Job Highlights

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST with 1-hour unpaid break
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note:
Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an Independent Contractor, the selected candidate must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. Professional fees are on hourly rates and depend on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

Website & Landing Page Support

  • Create and edit service and landing pages (WordPress / Squarespace / Webflow)

  • Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headers, and CTAs

  • Ensure pages are conversion-focused (forms, calls, applications)

  • Maintain fast load speed and mobile optimization

Google Business Profile (Local SEO)

  • Optimize and manage Google Business Profile

  • Add services, descriptions, photos, and weekly posts

  • Assist with review collection and posting updates

Google Ads Support (Execution Only)

  • Assist with keyword research (high-intent, service-based keywords)

  • Build and maintain negative keyword lists

  • Ensure landing pages meet Google Ads compliance standards

  • Support conversion tracking setup (GA4, Google Tag)

  • Monitor form submissions and call tracking data

Reporting & Maintenance

  • Weekly reporting on leads, calls, and conversions

  • Identify low-quality traffic and flag issues

  • Follow SOPs and checklists precisely

  • Not a strategist deciding offers or pricing


Requirements

  • Experience supporting Google Ads campaigns

  • Familiarity with GA4 and conversion tracking

  • Experience optimizing service-based business websites

  • Google Business Profile management experience

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow checklists

  • Clear written communication

Bonus (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with accounting, legal, real estate, or medical clients

  • Local SEO experience for U.S.-based businesses
