Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SEO Marketing Specialist to support ongoing content optimization and on-page SEO execution for our WordPress website. This role is highly hands-on and focused on implementing SEO best practices directly inside WordPress using content provided via Google Docs.

Core Responsibilities
WordPress Content Management
• Create new WordPress pages and blog posts using content provided in Google Docs
• Update and optimize existing WordPress pages and posts
• Format content properly (headings, spacing, readability, tables, lists, etc.)
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and clean layout

On-Page SEO Optimization
• Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headers (H1–H3), and URLs
• Implement internal linking strategies within content
• Optimize images (file names, alt text, compression)
• Ensure proper keyword placement without keyword stuffing

Internal Linking & Site Structure
• Add relevant internal links to existing and new content
• Identify opportunities to strengthen topical clusters
• Maintain logical site structure and user flow

SEO Best Practices
• Follow current Google on-page SEO guidelines
• Ensure pages are indexable and SEO-friendly
• Assist with basic schema implementation (if applicable)
• Identify low-hanging SEO opportunities on existing content

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience working in WordPress
• Solid understanding of on-page SEO and internal linking
• Experience formatting content from Google Docs into WordPress
• Familiarity with SEO plugins (Yoast, RankMath, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail

Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with high-volume content sites
• Understanding of content clusters and topical authority
• Basic HTML knowledge
