Job Description: 

You’ll play a crucial role in taking the administrative burden off the business owner so they can focus on growth and expansion. This position offers the opportunity to help establish better operational systems, moving the company away from manual processes toward streamlined, efficient workflows. You’ll work directly with the business owner to develop systems that support the company’s scaling ambitions while managing essential bookkeeping and client communication functions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on client payments and outstanding invoices

  • Prepare and manage weekly invoicing in Xero

  • Perform basic bookkeeping and administrative tasks

  • Communicate with clients regarding payments and job bookings

  • Help transition business processes from manual to digital systems

  • Use phone systems for client follow-ups

  • Support business growth, with potential involvement in sales

 

Requirements

  • Experience using Xero for invoicing and bookkeeping

  • Strong communication skills, especially for payment follow-ups

  • Bookkeeping or accounting experience with small to medium businesses

  • Ability to work independently and improve processes

  • Experience working with international clients, preferably Australian

  • Comfortable using phone and client communication tools

  • Industry experience in transport, logistics, or construction is a plus
