IT Support Staff

Schedule:

  • Flexible, Monday - Friday between 09:00 AM and 5:00 PM Melbourne, Victoria Time l 20 paid hours per week

Job Overview:

The client is seeking a knowledgeable and reliable IT professional to manage and support the company’s IT services. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, ensuring systems run smoothly, and addressing the overall IT needs of the business. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in IT, proactive in problem-solving, and capable of supporting users efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Manage and maintain IT systems, tools, and services used by the company
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of IT infrastructure
  • Set up, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and software
  • Assist with system updates, backups, and basic IT documentation
  • Respond promptly to IT-related concerns and provide clear solutions
  • Recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance IT efficiency and security

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in IT support and services
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
  • Good understanding of hardware, software, and basic networking
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support non-technical users
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to IT management.
