As a Booking Assistant, you will play a key role in bringing these dream vacations to life by managing detailed booking coordination across multiple countries and suppliers.

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Eastern Time
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Contract: Independent Contractor
Side Note:
Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an Independent Contractor, the selected candidate must have their own computer and reliable internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. Professional fees are based on agreed hourly rates and performance.
Position Overview:
As a Travel Operations Booking Assistant, you will be vital in coordinating and booking all aspects of our
clients' trips. You'll ensure a seamless experience from start to finish, maintain detailed records, and foster relationships with international vendors.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and book all elements of clients' trips to desired European destinations.
• Enter, check, and monitor all reservation transactions meticulously.
• Help improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
• Maintain detailed records of all active client bookings and trip statuses.
• Review final documents to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate regularly with the owner, staff, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, accounting or related fields is preferred.
• Relevant work experience in the travel and hospitality industry or a similar role.
• A distraction-free workspace and dedicated high-speed internet access.
• Familiarity with business and financial principles.
• Experience booking airfare, hotels, car rentals, and tours on various booking platforms.
• Ideal candidates will have European international travel experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with management, team members, vendors,
and clients.
• Proficiency in Mac, Google Suite, and MS Office applications..
• Independent project management skills, including goal-setting and deadline management.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).
